Chess

Chess at St. Christopher's is open to students across Primary and Junior Secondary. Sessions cover the fundamentals, from openings and tactics to endgames, and give students plenty of games against each other as well as friendly matches and tournaments.

The game builds patience, concentration and forward planning, and it rewards careful thinking over speed. It's an activity any student can pick up, and the habits it teaches carry well beyond the board.
